Well, you know how hard it is to come up with an original concept. No doubt, the individuals responsible for each product (High School of the Dead and Blood) suffered some narrative "cross pollination". I may be wrong but it's a theory.

All those James Bond-ian amorous encounters end tragically with a boob to the chest. Somehow, when one says it like that, it doesn't sound so pernicious.
